Joi is a dating app where you can meet and video chat with strangers from around the world. Delka collaborated with Joi to create and integrate an influencer campaign across YouTube and TikTok to build credibility and increase the brand reach.

Joi aimed to create a buzz among the youth across social media while subtly creating awareness and provoking action for the dating app. The objective was to create good quality content that engages the youth and gains maximum exposure.


We at Delka approached the goal by thoroughly researching trending content topics and creators across YouTube and TikTok and came to the conclusion of collaborating with influencers who are known for doing creative social pranks. The 3 key influencers for the collaboration were Coby Persin, Thomas Petrou, and TopNotch Idiots. Joi was integrated into the videos towards the beginning or end. The influencers promote the app and then showcase how to use it by actually having a video call with a stranger they met on the app. This gained a lot of reach due to the curiosity and optimistic messaging motivating the viewers to give Joi a try.
